International Shipping

International Shipping Policy:   Excellent Customer Service is our Goal!  If you are having any problem with the International shipping arrangements, please contact us Toll Free 1-866-585-0735.

There is no minimum order size for our product line.  Order as much or as little as you need.   An Industry Discount is available for all International orders.  For large orders, please contact us  and we will assist you with any arrangements needed.  Please call toll free 1-866-585-0735 to make arrangements.

For International orders, the payment options available are credit card, bank wire transfers or certified checks.  All orders must be prepaid prior to shipping.  Please contact us and we will assist you with any ordering or payment processes.

 We Accept International Orders Payment and Shipping:  We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover,  and American Express Cards,  Bank wire Transfers or Certified Checks for International Orders.  International Shipping for orders will be charged seperately from the products.  Customs and special documentation needed will be arranged when you use FeDx.  Please list billing address and contact information along with the shipping destination so you can be contacted about delivery type and any special arrangements needed.  If you are experiencing any Int'l shipping problems, please contact us Toll Free 1-866-585-0735.

International Shipping Carriers

For International Shipping, there are  2 Shipping forwarders Used:

-          FedEx (air only): DDU delivery (delivery to the customer warehouse / office). Fedex takes care of the custom clearance. The cost is included in the freight price.  It is the customers responsibility to pay for the import duties / local VAT.

-          Century (air & Ocean): CIF only. The customer will have to take care of the custom clearance from airport / port and transportation to final destination

Shipping Costs:  Many factors determine shipping costs: Method of shipping (overnight, two day air, or ground) package sizes and weight.  Chef Services Inc. will not assume any shipping costs unless previously arranged.  The onsite products have an estimated weight added to cover the packaging weight over the actual product weight.  Shipping quotes are estimates only, final shipping cost can only be determined at the final shipping stage.  Any special customs and NAFTA arrangements are the responsibility of th Buyer.

Shipping terms for all orders are F.O.B. our Vendor in Seattle Washington, 98032, USA.  Shipping Point of Origin is our Vendor - Gourmet Display, 6004 South 190th Street, Kent Washington, 98032 USA.

Delivery Times: A shipping tracking information email will be sent to you upon request only.  Please note email contact information at the the point of sale.  For order tracking information, please contact us Toll Free 1-866-585-0735 or Email chefnorm@northstate.net.

Carriers will not deliver to a PO Box. Please indicate a full shipping address and telephone number when ordering and an email address for your information for tracking purposes to be sent to you.

Please note when placing a large orders over 250 LB., if you have a loading dock to receive larger palletized orders.  If not, special arrangements will need to be made to off-load the products.  Additional charges may apply.  Someone needs to be available to receive the order to insure proper condition upon arrival.

 Freight Damage/Shortages:  Inspect your shipment immediately upon its arrival for visible or concealed damage. If you do receive damaged goods, please contact us Toll Free 1-866-585-0735.  To receive credit authorization and you must also contact the Freight carrier within 48 hours. Be sure to retain all packing materials for carrier inspection. In the event you receive an item not as ordered or an item is missing from the order you must notify us immediately.

Product Guarantee: Chef Services Inc. and our Vendor-Gourmet Display, products are guaranteed 100% against defects in materials and workmanship.  Welds on all Prestige Line Metal Stands are Guaranteed for Life.  If you have a product question, please contact us.  Carefully inspect all packages upon delivery, return immediately to point of origin by carrier if damaged within 48 hours.  

 Due to the rigors of the foodservice industry, there may be circumstances in which an item may need to be repaired.  Please contact our Vendor - Gourmet Display Customer Support at 1-800-767-4711 Ext. 101 for repair quotes.  Repair items must be sent freight pre-paid to point of origin.  Once the item has arrived, it will be inspected and you will be contacted with an estimate for repairs.  Once the item has arrived, it will be inspected and Customer Service will call you with the estimate for repair.

Return Policy:

If you wish to return an item, please contact us.  Upon recieving Return Authorization, the merchandise must be sent Freight pre-paid to the point of origin and is subject to a 25% re-stocking fee and a 10% handling fee.  All returned goods must be in unused and undamages condition and packaged in their original shipping cartons and packaging materials and indured for your protection.   Chef Services will not assume any shipping charges unless prior arrangements are made. 

In the event of any order discrepency you must notify us within 48 hours.
